The fact that Stupid Nokia only gave the N900 less than 256MB of RAM (240MB), N900 always required more RAM to do multitasking. So this is one of the reason for me

Here is what I see is wrong with the N900: N O T H I N G.
I am the type of guy who sees about 3 new phones everyday, because I am a mobile software engineer.
The N900 is the absolute best phone made to date. I can argue anybody with this, or anybody can provide me with what they think is better, and I will make sure to change your minds . Anyways, if you can, BUY THE PHONE! Thats my suggestion!!

And since people seem to think the fruit phone (Iphone) is the best phone out there, maybe that have changed their minds when they were fired from their jobs Monday January 3rd 2010 when their alarms didnt go off, at times where the N900's alarm goes off EVEN IF THE BATTERY IS DEAD!!!!!!!!!

Meh. Personally, I love it, and this is -after- I managed to crack the screen!
I realize now just how much I used it - for -everything- - and how much I miss not having it(while I wait for a replacement screen from HK).
Heck, even the -insides- are beautiful; the motherboard design is sleek and clean, the case is well-built and can be disassembled and reassembled without breaking something, which isn't that common on non-Nokia stuff.

Software wise, the OS is wonderful, the freedom to run anything is great. Sure, it might not be perfect, but that's not exactly a new thing...

I -will- admit that they skimped on the battery - Double the current capacity and that'd be a good start. Oh well.

The only thing i don't like about n900 is it made my wife mad all the time cuz i kept playing with it instead of her.

N900 is the best device to date, my wife is using iphone4, my sister has HTC-HD2, I played with those phones as well and they are far behind from n900 in my opinion. If you have some linux background or consider yourself a techie, then you'll love N900.

Lack of Multi-touch is something that I always missed in N900. I mean Zooming images using buttons is impractical. Then zooming in default browser is bit OK. But if you do zooming in mozilla or any other browser, you don't know what to do. It would have been really better if they would have added multi-touch, zooming would have been pretty much handy.

N900 has an excellent H/W but I would say its sofware is unable to get the best out of it for example

1) Low sound from the speakers, although I believe speakers are excellent its the software thats limiting it
2) Front Camera is good but when I use it in mirror application or skype calling its so dark that hardly anything is visible under normal light condition

Too be honest there's nothing i really dislike about it, multiotuch would be nice, but only for gaming. I can do without it for browsing ( i like the swirly zoom action of microb, :P and double click works fine in everything else, ) and for zooming images.

Battery could be better, but i'll get around to buying an extra battery when i can afford it, heh.

dont like that:

- that there wont be flash 10

- the apps are a catastrophe when compared to the ones other os like for. eg the iphone has.
