i am having a lot of problem downloading cute tube and nfsinstaller. Nfsinstaller download stops in the middle and cutetube latest version doesnt even start.

i assume you reboot already....
did you try to uninstall it and then install again.

or try something like:

root
apt-get autoremove
apt-get autoclean

or just run simple upgrade:
with root

Code:

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

ive been dealing with a lot of updating issues as well. conflicting software and the like. will these commands "clean" the device of the conflicts? what exactly do the commands accomplish?

1.download ur proper error file missing... from garage maemo5..
2.save it in ur n900 storage phone
3.run it with app manager > make it install
4. type this in xterm :

# apt-get -f install
# apt-get autoremove
# apt-get clean

it not completed .. try this one...

# apt-get update
# apt-get upgrade
# apt-get remove python2.5-qt4-core    <this is ur missing file>
