The best with the Internet Tablet is the never ending strem of FOR FREE !! 3- party applications ....It is like Christmas every day. And that way the Nokia IT just getting better and better..
What sucks most is the need for find, reload and re-install every 3party apps after a OS upgrade. It takes a lot of effort to rebuild it to the state it had with applications before the upgrade.
There schould be a easy way of backing up 3-patry apps
Built-in Jabber Client is toooooo slow.
Using Pidgin is faster, but I hate that it is in the "taskbar". In the "Statusbar" would be cooler. Supporting Exchange Server would be cool, but IMAP4 is enough.

I don't see how you can't tell which button is which. Full screen is the big one, and the zooms are on either side. It's easy enough to do in your sleep unless you have huge fingers with absolutely no sensation.
Can't say I have huge fingers. The zooms are on both sides yeah.. it's just too bad there's no gap whatsoever and if it's completely dark and I can't see the thing it pretty much feels like one big button.
I second this. I use my N800 mostly for browsing... and sometimes is a pain...

I just bought the n800 and I should get it next week. I hope I am not disappointed.

I'm *guessing* he's referring to the inital load time once you've chosen a contact to chat with. On my N800 it takes longer to open up a new chat window with someone then it does to load up MicroB
The support for divx and flash videos are not there.
Though you can say mplayer supports Flashvideos, still it doesnt have pause or stop button.... I am eagerly waiting for the other video format supports..... Can anyone tell me more info on other video format supporting applications for n800? pls

The only people that complain are the type of people that aren't used to using embedded devices like cell phones and tablets. They expect the same speed as their quad-core PCs. As long as you have reasonable expectations, you should be fine. And if you really find it slow, turn off Flash.

Yup. Just seems like that app should have a little lighter footprint when loading. Not exactly sure what it's doing, but the CPU does go to 100% for most of it. And if you start up a second chat after that, it isn't all that much quicker. You'd think it should just open up another window/instance rather quickly. Still I'm not loosing any sleep over it. There is WAAAAY too much that the N800 does very very well for it's size, price, hardware, etc.
