it won't install gain kagu the list go's on any help? i think this is where nokia falls short
I'm *guessing* he's referring to the inital load time once you've chosen a contact to chat with. On my N800 it takes longer to open up a new chat window with someone then it does to load up MicroB
The support for divx and flash videos are not there.
Though you can say mplayer supports Flashvideos, still it doesnt have pause or stop button.... I am eagerly waiting for the other video format supports..... Can anyone tell me more info on other video format supporting applications for n800? pls
Actually, I've watched .mpg, .avi (Divx & Xvid) and flash videos. mplayer supports Xvid. KMPlayer allows you to choose which player is used, Osso Media Server, MPlayer or Flash.

Is there any other reader that can be downloaded to the N800? I've tried to use the FBreader and I've showed it to a couple of my friends and I just can't get the books into the library; I've read the instructions but no luck; I just don't find it user friendly; so is there another reader that can be used with the N800? TIA

It's pretty damn easy to add a book. Just tap that little button at the bottom with the book and the green plus, and point it to the book you're adding. Hey, Presto!
What format are you trying to use? I have the best luck with txt/rtf/html stuff. Be warned, it wont read any of the DRM garbage you get through most ebook stores.
- Large battery drain when listening on the radio.
I assume this is the Internet radio, not the FM radio. Yes, streaming over wi-fi sucks battery, more than surfing or most other activities. And no, it won't help a bit to deep-discharge the battery a couple of times as was suggested, that will simply shorten the capacity and lifetime of the battery even more. The only remedy is to plug in the charger when listening to internet radio for more than an hour or two.
- Slow scrolling in Opera and MicroB.
For Opera the fix is to configure it to use the d-pad as page down/page up (there are instructions in several threads here), then it'll page as fast as you could wish for. No such easy fix for MicroB (not the last time I checked at least).

I use a txt extention 99% of the time; I generally get my books from the gutenberg project; the books show up in the docment/file section and i place them on the removable card; but I can't get them to transfer to the library; I got disgusted with the whole thing and deleted the program the other day; thans for answering.
