No, among those of us who have been long time Maemo users there are quite a few who had never owned Nokia phones. That's certainly true of me, and I wouldn't have an N900 if there hadn't be previous, non-phone Maemo devices to catch my attention.

Currently loving the N900. Just got done rebuilding it to perfection. I'm not touching it again! (til next time)

Previously I had an N95. I was one of the few in the States with one. Loved showing it off.

My wife has a 5800 and adores it.

My N900 broke recently so I'm currently using a Samsung C3050 which cost me all of £35 last year. Not a bad phone for the price, although the camera is awful, but bluetooth audio works better than it does on the N900, shame about the built-in MP3 player.

I have owned a ridiculous amount of Nokia phones over the years. About 14 if you include my N810.

I have owned way too many phones in the past lol.

Mainly my n900. SE x10 mini when I want to be fanzy. Also use the mini when I'm running, hiking or biking or skiing. Much better gps and software for outdoor activities, plus its much smaller.

besides the N900, which is my main device of any descritption, i have a blackberry 8800 provided as a work device, which will be getting swapped for a BB curve next week.

we also have an N8 and a N97 in the house, neither are used to their full ptoential to be honest.

I got the N97 as a refurb on a really cheap deal for the wife for the same cost as a basic phone, and i have found that the N97 is not bad once althe latst updates are on it, especially as a comms and gps device (sms, twitter, facebook etc) and ovi maps is decent on it.

the N8 is a fecking beast though, and would be my second choice to the 900 at the mo. the hardware is super, and only the lack of a hw keyboard would put me off. The E7 looks great, but the omission of a microsd slot is a big mistake and turn off to me, especially as i have a 32gb microsd in the N900. I holpe that the N900 sucessor will be similar to the E7 bjut with one or two microsd slots. that would make me very happy, and make the wait to my contract expiry a very long one!
