You mean, reflashing should be your last resort. Backups should be made frequently.

conky + reboot = a possible solution to the snail-slowness.

i have more than one mobile device, and i refuse to ask why is it slow coz im gonna ask for each one of 'em

If you don't have a lot of applications installed, not a lot of customizing, stuff like that, your best bet may just be reflashing. Takes 5 minutes, 10 or 20 if you need to download the firmware image.

I hate reinstalling everything and reapplying all of my mods, but damn it feels real good to have the phone running faster than it did when I first got it.
