thats not the 2nd gen n900, thats some other phone, infact i'm 99% certain such a very similair phone will be released this year, bar the battery. if nokia ever switch to android which i doubt will be anytime soon if at all, most of these specs would be obselete.

That's a very realistic "wish list" you have there and I'm sure many of the most current HTC/Motorola/Apple handsets are already matching them specs already.

Have you looked into what many other companies are selling today? You may find what you are looking for with them?

However, if you insist on having a Nokia badge on the phone of your dreams, then you might be better posting this on one of the many Nokia branded websites and not Maemo.

Why Android!? If you want android you have zillions of other phones to choose from...
I can definately see the use for a android and a iphone APP-wrapper for maemo, but thats it...
The reason i choosed maemo in the first place was because i got fed upp with the symbian-signature , so why should i want apple-signature or google-signature instead!?

the best about n900 is maemo, i would have never estimated the importance of an open OS before i owned my n900. Let's see what HW nokia wants to ship with meego

I just came back and i could have swore i put meamo 5 in there but it wasnt so yeah i edited it & i agree meamo 5 is the best multitasking os out there.
As for why i put "Or Android" well if its good enough for the father of linux Linus Torvalds & the fact it has google behind it is all something to keep in mind.
