I am looking for an audible accelerometer. I need this device to log a linear movement (point "a" to point "b"). After this movement is logged, other point "a" to point "b" movements are generated. When the speed of this movement slows an audible alarm will sound.

Sounds like this is something that can be achieved using a serial accelerometer and an Arduino

I've had an arduino since xmas and have very impressed
