So i have an N900, fulling working but yesterday only yesterday had the micro usb port came out, other then that its fully working for the past 1 year and 2 months (i bought it on the 2nd day they were selling it here on the new york nokia store)

I inquired about replacing the part at an authorized place they said 65 for the parts and labor.

I am deciding weather to repiar it or just sell it as its been an awsome phone so far minus the usb failing .....

The Phone itself fully works i have the oringal box..and everything book ...headset ..charger..usb-computer transger... and no screen scratches just vvery minior on the body.. barlly enough to notice or care. everything on the phoone works perfect..
and everything.. i can also include the car charger and some extra battereis

If anyone is interested at all, please give me a pm or mail.. vinoth@live.ca

There is a slight possiblity you're still under warranty...

Check W/ Nokia. Mine broke 1 year 10 days after purchase and they fixed it for free. They emailed me a tag to ship at no cost. Search on my ID to see my posts on another thread.

Thank you guys for trying to help but unfortuently the website also says its out of warrenty,(though i tryed it one night before i called in and it said u have 10 days but after i talked with the rep it went to out of warrenty) i also gave them a call and they said its out of warrenty and they would need a receipt for the proof of purchace.. which wouldnt matter because i know its been over 12 months..

do you guys think its worth calling one more time, would i get a different answer with another representative?

ive gotten a couple of interesting offers in my email so far, please send me what you think is fair for this n900.. once again everything works fine and its had got a screen protecter since i bought it so the screen is absoulute working the only problem is broken micro usb

Alsoif i take my power plug and fiddle with it inside the n900 i can seee it makes contact and i get the vibration along with the fadded nokia logo so do you think its possible for me to solder it back?

Yes, it's possible. It just came loose. If I bought it, I'd do exactly that.
