I don't quite understand what you mean, but there are several ways to network your N900 directly with the laptop and share an internet connection, but they'll take a little work to set up, you can't do it straight out of the box.

You will also get an unsuported device, with quite a few of OS annoyances... there's a thread here that talks a lot about the advantages and disadvantages of owning an N900 I strongly suggest you read that first before making a decision..I believe the thread that I am talking about was created by etoyo

I meant that as with laptop,you can configure router settings of your pc with laptop and use internet on laptop anywhere regardless of range of router.Its called 'wireless internet' I guess.
