I don't mean to hijack the thread, but DialCentral + Gizmo5 works great for making and receiving free calls over Wifi or 3G, if you're lucky enough to have a Gizmo5 account (or other SIP provider?) before the Google Voice/Gizmo5 takeover.

You can use a Gizmo5/SIP number as one of your forwarding phones in Google Voice (to receive calls)... and then use your Gizmo5/SIP number as the callback number with Google Voice/DialCentral to initiate SIP calls (over Wifi or 3G).

Works great with DialCentral and the built-in SIP support on the n810 (or n8x0?) and n900.

(Search the forum here for SIP configuration details)

And continued thanks to epage for DialCentral development

Too funny Edward. You made me lol.

Anyway, I'm back to using 1.2.18 today and all is good.

So yeah, there's probably no reason to give you my log now.

Sorry. Next time I'll remember to save that.

    @epage

The latest DC updates (1.2.18) have been looking real nice.

Thanks for keeping us Diablo folks in the loop!

Just as an FYI I have confirmed Adisons texting bug in 1.2.19. It is possible to get a quick fix out but I think I'll spend the time to try in the same vein 1.2.19 was suppose to be, trying to get rid of the graphical glitches in Qt on n900.

    Hi Edward!

Hey, I'm having a terrible time with notifications.

I can't get them to stop when it's no longer needed.

I've unchecked it, checked it, closed it down, change the time from 1 minute to 3 hours. Almost everything I've tried.

It keeps checking every minute and flashing the LED whenever I receive a new message.

I'm currently using 1.2.16 but this was also the case on the two newer releases as well.

    Any way to kill this?

    Thank you.

I've added a notification section to the wiki, including custom notifiers, deleting alarms, turning off the led, etc

Okay, it's saying Alarm (1295919142) is enabled for every 180 minutes

However, it's checking at least every minute.

    Weird.

I've now added a reference to the wiki about a notification-specific log file. That might be interesting.
