Lost my n900 only to be told they dont have any to give me, so gotta choose from HTC Desire Z, HTC trophy 7, Nokia N8, and some blackberry crap. What are they thinking!!! none of these phones can replace my n900

Whats the best choice? I'm thinking HTC Desire Z. Windows Phone is abit too gimmicky looking atm. N8 is not quite there, blackberry :| are they mad. Any opinions on the Desire Z?

used n900 are cheap now, $200
I guess you're saying they will pay for it if you pick a new one though?
I'd go with the desire in that case

Desire Z imo is the best from what they offer , it has nice big screen , Android OS is way better than crappy Win 7 and most of all it has QWERTY keyboard which will remind you of N900

    Sorry for your loss

p.s. Blackberry only if its Torch otherwise meh

Get the most expensive one, sell it, and buy a N900...

maybe two N900s for the money you get by selling the most expensive one. or just one and some disposable cash!

    Go with Ele-Mental's suggestion.

Just out of interest though, is your insurance with the network provider?

Desire Z is clearly the closest to an N900 competitor there. But the sell-it option seems good.

There's no Windows Mobile on the Trophy, there's Windows Phone 7. I don't know why anyone would want Phone 7.

Either way, if you get Phone 7 or Symbian^3 at this point in time, you're being an early adaptor. That's never an advantage. Phone 7 is a new OS and the N8 is the first S^3 phone.
