Thanks to Jakiman for this help.

I downloaded the updated fcam drivers from here (put them in MyDocs)
    http://n900.tannerlab.com/kernel/fca....7-1_armel.deb

    Then installed them with xterm:

    cd /home/user/Mydocs
    dpkg -i fcam-drivers_1.0.7-1_armel.deb

    Camera working again.
Worked for me!! Thanks, I have my camera back!!!

I also couldn't get my camera running. I always get the "operation failed" msg. I installed the fcam-drivers_1.0.7-1_armel.deb via terminal.. But the same thing. I don't have Bless N900 anymore(I had it months ago for a brief time)
I wanted to uninstall the fcam drivers thing but I cannot see it with app manager. If someone walks me thru how to remove them via terminal I will give it a shot. Thank you in advance!

Dreaded "operation failed" message today. I installed USB host mode the other day, so assume that it must be that.

    1. Into Application Manager, uninstall BlessN900, then uninstall Fcam drivers.
    2. Power off phone and then back on.
    3. Test stock camera appication - A-OK
    4. Into Application Manager. Install BlessN900.
    5. Restart phone.
    6. Test Bless N900 and stock camera app - A-OK.
