Little update on the Ubuntu theme, now added a new bar at the bottom, new icon for the battery, and ubuntu'ish desktop switcher(bottom right). Not done yet, still some smal details left

You can use conky as a wallpaper through Live Wallpaper, it's listed in the category Unknown.

sorry i should of quoted my original question on conky to be used in the pimpin of n900, i knew but live wallpapers but i wanted to be able to use it like on pc, here is a screen shot (scaled down) of my current setup, i have my ps3, n900 an laptop all looking very similar, an all i'd have to do is reposition it to the left side so it wraps around the maemo status bar

I like this very much ! Took quite a while to get the taskbar transparancy working, Maemodder Hildon hardware acceleration was the culprit. Works like a charm now.

I made a lockscreen image based on this nice background, so the swiper background looks more integrated.



PS: this is my first post, I just got my phone for 3 days now, and God, I Love It !
Only downside so far is battery-life, charging twice day
Maybe that gets better when i stop tweaking it all the time
