    hi folks,

iīm not very happy with this new design. ist looks sort of stylish, yes, but itīs impractical. on my 770 iīve got the same problem as other users, parts of the page are covered by a large N810...

loading time ist too long too, somebody mentioned here about 30 seconds to display this page. heīs absolutely right, on an ITT itīs no big fun to have a look around here.

i also think the colours are too dark, with too low contrast. reading this page on a ITT outside is a crap. we all know, our screens are sometimes hard to read in the sun, so why then pick dark colours for the page? an the overall question: why is this page not readable from an ITT from the beginning on? a page for ITTs and ITT-users which canīt be displayed correctly on an ITT is some sort of paranoid.

donīt get me wrong reggie, youīre doing a fantastic job here, this page is just great, it helped me getting all the abilities the 770 could give me.

but at the moment, visiting this page gives me just a slight feeling of frustration...

    just my 2 cents...

I just changed to classic look in options first day.. There you got my feedback. I read and post with my N800 only, and when the layout changed I had to log in with my laptop and change to classic so I was able to read it again with my N800..

I only use Mobile mode on ITT with the tablet. I find it adequate now to browse new posts and for the occasional reply (like now :-)

It's pretty in a dark technical kind of way but has some usability issues.
I'm reporting that in the WIKI section of tips and how to's that the code example windows are now all black with invisible text. I could only see the text by highlighting to change the colors.

When the new site opens in Konqueror on n800 it crashes the window manager everytime. I have tried to disable js for the site but no matter what I do CPU goes crazy and konq dies taking kwin with it.

Not sure if other KDE users are having the same issue, but my guess would be yes.

Still trying to figure out exactly whats happening

Ditto on the "New Posts" link. I used that thing all the time and now it's gone!

I have added back the more simple forum template now called 'n810 v2'. I have made that the default template as well. You should have the 'New Posts' link now.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Looks like my Konqueror problem was a memory issue, the new site just eats it up in Konqueror, when I enabled swap it stopped crashing.

And the default color for typing in my name when logging in is so non-contrasting I can't see my name while typing. That's weird, and sometimes I have had problems with a too-responsive keyboard that typed letters twice when I meant once. So I wouldn't see that kind of mistake when typing my name; I'd have to wait till my login was rejected and then try to guess what the problem was.
