sorry i should of quoted my original question on conky to be used in the pimpin of n900, i knew but live wallpapers but i wanted to be able to use it like on pc, here is a screen shot (scaled down) of my current setup, i have my ps3, n900 an laptop all looking very similar, an all i'd have to do is reposition it to the left side so it wraps around the maemo status bar

So could you tell me/us how you scaled down conky on the N900?
And is it possible to use your own background, and have conky like an desktop widget?

My Desktops. On the bottom arrows there are 2 full transparent desktop switcher widgets. At beginning I had put some tabs in the background with trasparent switchers but it was taking too much space and I abandoned that idea.

What app is the arrow + icons along the bottom of your desktops?
