My microB has developed an extremely annoying new bug:
I use 'open in new window' a lot. Starting today eventually one of those new windows will hang in the loading stage forever. It just shows a blank white page and the loading indicator will go left <--> right forever. As long as I keep the window open, the original window will still work. If I close the hanging window, the original window will hang too. I can still scroll or zoom but clicking a link will not have any effect whatsoever. The only way to make microB work again is to reboot the phone. Restarting the browserd will not help.
Does any of you have an idea how to fix or troubleshoot this, please?

Tried clearing your cache, history and cookies then restarting the N900?

I often get some annoying glitches with MicroB sometimes, but after doing the above it gets its *** together.

I've also come to believe that app manager can cause some headaches, as on most occasions when MicroB is slopping about I get the yellow updates notifier immediately afterward.

Next time it happens, open xterminal, write "top" and press enter. A list of running commands opens. Then look for "/usr/bin/browser" and press "q" to get out of the list. Then just write "kill (the PID of the browser)" to close the browser and next time you launch it it should work again.

Killing the browser did not help. neither restarting browserd. Let alone stop and refresh. Stop didn't have any effect.
Only reboot helped.

reflash would be the best bet. (remember to take backup!)
