One aspect of the n900 I love is the ability to use a lanyard (something I missed when I was using an iPhone), so now when I fumble my phone, it only dangles from my wrist, rather than falling to the floor.

Then again, this is the only cell phone in the world that runs a real Linux distribution as its OS (no rooting or jailbreaking required), so for me, it was head and shoulders above the competition.
