Been using the mytouch4g for a bit and its a well made fast device good enough as a smartphone, make sure you get the ones with the good screen though.

Why are people suggesting to him to keep or buy another N900 he obviously wants a new phone. I still have my N900 but bought a Galaxy S also as my main phone call sms phone.

I would suggest an small dumb phone. For everything else the N900 is pretty good, and would be useful to carry a small computer with you.

But if you want to go to the android road, try to avoid motorola that have a bad reputation regarding upgrading the android version

There is no alternative, the N900 is not like the others

I'm jumping ship to a Dell Streak 5. I got my hands on one and can't resist that huge f'n screen. Ordered it up today!

PM me if you want to buy my "gently used" N900! hehe

Hi all - first post - and this quote prompted me to do so.
I must be missing something. I bought the N900 perhaps by accident you could say (i.e. I didn't go looking for it) and it's obviously way over my head, given all the positivity about it.
Can't say I don't like mine but equally I'd part with it tomorrow.

I'm a bit miffed by it all

Okay so I ended up buying a mytouch 4g - htc glacier
Got root access to the phone about 2 hours after purchase
Bricked the phone about 2 hours after getting root
    Sleep.
Exchanged the phone at the tmobile store first thing in the morning.
    Back to n900 after breakfast.
