sqlite3
e.g.
Code:
sqlite3 /home/user/.rtcom-eventlogger/el-v1.db "select * FROM Events;"

Depends on what exactly the .db is. In the context of the N900, files with the db extension could be:
  • a Berkeley DB - not sure whether there are any client programs available on N900
  • sqlite DB - use sqlite
  • or maybe even something else

.db files are also commonly used as thumbnail caches in Windows XP through Windows 7.
