I've tried the enhanced kernel, the most recent was yesterday. Everytime, the camera on my n900 refuses to work, and doesn't even start. Anybody's had this problem? Any suggestions?

Uninstall the FCam drivers, reboot and then re-install FCam using the latest version from the repos. Should solve it for you.

Thanks for the answer, but I don't have fcam installed.
Problem must come from somwhere else.

To be safe l'd do a backup before you uninstall fcam drivers.
I had the same issue earlier this week with the custom kernel and the camera, also my keyboard backlight stopped working too. Unfortunatly when I uninstalled fcam drivers I found my phone would'nt boot resulting in a reflash and restore.

If you don't have the FCam drivers already installed there is no need to uninstall. Just install it.

I had the same problem and it worked.
