    Unable to flash eMMC...Help

    This started as this..
While I was on the vacation,at some time my n900 shut down because of low battery. It was unable to reboot even after replacing the charged batteries from my 5800. ( while trying to rerbbot only the nokia screen used to show..lit for some time then shut down.)
prior to this I overclocked it to 850 MHz. worked like charm for 1 month.
then after searching similar threads I decided to flash it.
I have done this in the past also. The present firmware is PR 1.3
I thought that maybe this is the problem of OS...so maybe only flashing the OS would help...flashed it successfully but it was of no help..problem persisted.
so again after reading & reading i decided to flash the eMMC then the firmware.
now the problem is this..whenever i tried to flash the eMMC...It would start and continue upto ....
Booting device i nto flash mode.
    Sitable USB device not found,waiting,

    process hangs....
    what should i do...Help Please.

Here is the procedure to flash the n900 using maemo flasher-3.5.
downlaod meamo flasher-3.5 just type it in google you will find it.
First go to http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/nokia_N900.php and download
    Two files : (1) RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2.004_PR_COMBINED_004_ARM.bin (for flashing)
    (2) and if you want to format your emmc then download RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin
The now open meamo flasher-3.5,switch off your mobile and hold u button and plug in the usb your n900 will show you logo of nokia with a usb connected signal

If you want to format your emmc also then type : flasher_3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R

OR if you want to flash fw then:

    flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2.004_PR_COMBINED_004_ARM.bin -f -R

i had this problem before.. if you are running xp, make sure you have sp3 and nokia pc suite to ensure you have all the usb drivers needed. open nokia pc suite in the background.

If you are flashing BOTH eMMC and Firmware (Fiasco) then DO NOT ADD the -R switch t the end of the first flash, ie; to flash eMMC type in
    Code:
    flasher_3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin -f
    followed by fiasco flash with
    Code:
    flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2.004_PR_COMBINED_004_ARM.bin -f -R
Note that the -R switch is only at the end of the FINAL flash.

I have a different kind of problem , thought i'd post i here..

When I for the first time executed:
"RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM_mido.fayad.bin -f" in the flasher nothing happend.

So i checked the file and it stated "unknown file format" so I marked the flasher-3.5 to be used to open the file. All of a sudden the file is in text format.

So then again I tried the usual command and all it does is reading the file and then turn to the flasher-option menu showing me all the available commands.

My question is what do I do to make the flasher read the file properly? This is probably a ridiculous problem haha.

edit: nevermind i solved it !
