I actually have a complaint about some item on this list...one of them is personalized google page. It's 3 column makes it almost impossible to be any useful. And ITT...it's hardly nokia 770 friendly...there's a 15%-20% white border around the forum posts...I think it fit real well without it...

You know what sites has good format...gizmodo.com, engadget.com, wired.com. Oh and bank of america website works real well also. I can do banking just fine on my 770.

Ah, point well taken NokNok770. I guess it proves that the sites we become accustomed to become the ones we believe work best. No matter how we access them.

personal online bookmarks: http://del.icio.us/

the ability to tag individual bookmarks with keywords, makes navigating through hunderds of bookmarks really easy and fast.

I agree Bil. I don't think I've been to del.icio.us on the 770 yet. I must see how well the Opera "monster" handles it.

In my quest to find my optimal routine while online with the 770, I have noticed that I check and respond to email (Gmail), update my calendar (RSSCalendar), and check what's in the news (Bloglines). Usually, I find myself branching off to other sites from Bloglines. I find this to be the most efficient way for me to get most things done on the device in reasonable bursts.

You're welcome to use our NWS weather site as well. Just insert your airport code or the first three letters of major cities. If you get Atlanta and entered something else, your city isn't in the table. Works great on most cell phones with a browser, too... especially Treo 650.

dude, you know you can just select 'pda style' from the bottom of the page, and it makes it SUPER 770 friendly? How? See where it says -- Default Style? click on it and select 'pda style' and you're golden.

Thanks spiderx for that tip. I thought I heard someone mention it somewhere else in the forums, but never got around to check it out.

Thanks AllThumbs, I've got to bookmark that one.

Well, the 'pda style" Reggie added (more or less at my request) is certainly easier to use on the 770, but it is in no way the best that can be done for mobile devices with vBulletin.

The layout on the 'view new posts' page (and others) is a mess, with thread titles wrapped and piled vertically atop one another on the left, and most of the space unused. Generally there is a lot of (textual) info lacking (such as post timestamps, last poster name etc.) Also no way to go directly to a thread's last or last unread post...

Other PDA-related sites have more functional mobile versions of the same vBulletin, so it's possible (but perhaps costly, as I think it is commercial software).
