This might be a total noob question, but I've tried to install Garnet-VM but something is keeping it from installing. First I get a "Operation failed" message, after a few seconds the question whether I want to install it and then I get a huge list of libs and such that need to be present on my device, wich aren't. Can anyone tell me what to install so I can get it going?

Are you sure you're installing the right deb? The one that says n800 rather than n810?

Worked straight away for me. Can you list some of the libs it's asking for?

It says n800 in the filename and the link in my mail says N800 as well. So I'm guessing I've got the right installer

Never mind! The problem wasn't the installer, but my Application Manager. The "Operation failed" message was caused by the Kharad (or something like that) repository which is down. Found the solution somewhere else on the forums. Deleted the repository, installed and it works like a charm

Arrgh. I'm having the same problem, but cannot seem to resolve it.

I have a N770 running 2.2006.39-14. I got downloaded Garnet from a link in my email that contained "&which=N770". But when I use the application manager to install, it gives me a error "Unable to install garnet-vm. Packages missing hildon-libs0 (>=0.12.24.-3).

My application manger's catalog contains:

Install the N770 version (should be 770, not N770) from Garnet, hotsync without a glitch in less than 5 minutes. Heard some problem when install the N800 version on the 770 running 2007He. Maybe its time to upgrade?

yes, I have the new 2007 HE, installed fine and works.

I have installed ( on Nokia 770 IT with the latest Nokia Build, not the Hackers Edition ) and messed around a little bit with Garnet VM. I was able to install it perfectly, the first time itself. I could not see any issues but that the Garnet Screen is a tad small for my liking.

It has been installed both on 2007He and OS2006 on my 770, boot from MMC
