    Hey guys,

Got a new web access site for work, when opening on the 770 i get an error that javascript cannot open another browser window. The site interprets this as a pop-up blocker preventing this, but this is simply not possible on the 770, right? Java cannot control the 770 to make it open another window because the 770 doesn't use the java runtime gizmo, right? Any thoughts, or am I hosed?

    Thanks!

I get javascript errors, too, when trying to access www.hotmail.com. I can't figure out how to examine Opera's settings to see itf it's enabled or not.

Also, don't confuse java with javascript-- different animals.

Anyway, very discouraging that your post has been sitting here for 4 months with no response...

Well, have you tried going to the Web browser menu > Tools > Settngs... > Plug-ins & scipts, and enablng JavaScript? Also, go to the privacy tab and enable pop-up windows and automatic redirection.

Ummm... Did you try the menu button?

It's the hardware button between the Home button (with the house on it) and the Escape button (clockwise curved arrow).

Or just tap on the tab that says Web - whatever with the downward pointing arrow next to it (when you're not full screen).
