well i am currently using android theme(but that doesnt matter it happens in every theme) and the path is opt/usr/share/themes/ANdroid/backgrounds and i am using midnight commander

so any ideas?

Try the following.

Rename the Original LockSlider.png file to some other name. LockSliderORIG.png etc

Now paste your LockSlider.png file to the location.

It should work.

If you use mnotify then the reason is what i stated earlier - that app uses the lockscreen background in its own file, so putting an image in the theme folder will make no difference as it isn't being read from there anymore.

@fareed_xtreme: Awesome...

If you don't mind me saying I prefer the lockslider background to the others, the fact it's zoomed out and the lighter colour makes it look waaaay more 3d. Love it!

Thanks a lot D4Klar. It is not my work as such. The original 3d background, ripped off from google. I dint have the courtesy to even look up the guys name. LoL. However, the wallpaper, I also have a light version of it made. Basically i used the original image to make the image loopable. I'll upload a light version of this after I get home.
