This is my lock screen mod inspired by the iPhone typophone lock screen.

Attached is the perl script that creates the lock screen mod and puts the image in the right theme folder. You will need to have ImageMagick command line tools installed and modify the perl script a bit to match your needs (background image to use, theme paths etc) but I'm sure you clever ones will figure it out Also you need to remove the 'switch to unlock' text and the lock slider graphics. It uses Helvetica Neue fonts so you will have to track them down as well if you want the exact same style.

Use Alarmed app to automatically run the script daily at midnight to get the right date shown.

Change the extension of the attached lockScreenCal.txt to .pl.

Make the perl script executable ('chmod a+x lockScreenCal.pl') or execute it with 'perl lockScreenCal.pl'.

    lockScreenCal.txt

The used font family is Helvetica Neue. They are commercial fonts so I cannot share them.

I use the plastic-dark-black theme and the Helvetica Neue Lt font as my system-wide font. I think the font works real well and gives a more stylish look than the standard Nokia Sans font.

It's been a while since I looked at this so I should have done this sooner.
Packaged up and compressed with OptiPNG are the PNG files for my HTC-Style QBW Flipclock, as well as the RX-TX-IP widget, and YahooWeather widget.
Make sure you have WGET installed (apt-get install wget)

You'll need the QBW Flipclock widgets installed already, this is a modification to change the look by using different png files.

The flipclock can be installed from this this thread
    http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...=qbw+flipclock

The format to make this work is a little different to the original - all of the digits have a TRANSPARENT background, so another qbw is used as the flipclock for the digits. I have supplied single and wide flipclock backgrounds for your taste (credit Darkl4r for the original)

For this purpose, the separate filename sare flipclocktrans.png.* and flipclockblank.png/flipclockblankwide.png

The panel in the background is for the main flipclock code.

Extract all to /home/user/.queen_beecon_dir and edit the qbw files to match - they are named different so as not to overwrite the original flipclock files.
    Enjoy!

EDIT: RX-TX-IP fixed Not sure why it happened.

Thanks for all you help [DarkGUNMAN]. Weird. The RX-TX-IP works fine. Now with the yahoo i'm getting "possible pango markup language inconsistent/undetermined tag" with some numbers at the front now, but a green thumbs up on the widget?
EDIT: Actually, what's necho ip mean on rx-tx-ip. Sorry to be a pain in the arse. EDIT: It's ok. I just removed necho from the code and it displays ok now.
Here is the full error I get from the yahoo weather widget.
(0x1722280) QBW(id13-yahooweather)Warning! Possible Pango Markup Language inconsistent/undetermined Tag!
