This is what nokia and we need, in order for commercial development to start taking meego serious. In reality is not much diferent then android but truly open.
I think MeeGo needs one device in each category (IVI, tablet, netbook, handheld) and a halfway decent marketing campaign and the people will come. Maybe even some carrier subsidies for tablets and handhelds like most locked-to-carrier devices...at least for the North American market...the superbowl would have been a great time to begin marketing
Basic things that gets the ball rolling.
Anything short of that tho, MeeGo will remain a niche OS like Maemo before it. Nokia SUCKS @ marketing....at least here in the US
No evidence of a touch/digitizer and lousy pixel density, so not for me. But more Meego devices are always better in terms of momentumizing the ecosystem, and seeing Fujitsu starting to ship MeeGo has me salivating.
Oh, and Fujitsu Lifebook U820 here: best UMPC ever, aside from the GMA500 blues -- and the ******** had to go and discontinue it... hoping for an updated version with active digitizer & MeeGo.
Would have been nice if they had waited to release [http://www.nokiausa.com/find-product...ia-booklet-3g] until they could ship it with MeeGo ... a netbook made by the OS's manufacturer couldn't have been more perfect.

I know!! I've been waiting on a Nokia Booklet v2, it would've been perfect with updated specs and MeeGo.
