HI i'm having trouble with mi MicroB, I don't want to hijack this thread but I thought people here might help me out

Since yesterday my browser shows no pictures/gifs/flash/images in general, text is displayed but no images what so ever. Ive deleted the cookies, ive deleted flash tweaker app, ive set a higher cache in about:config and nothing has worked yet

the only thing i remember doing yesterday is installing enhanced 45 kernel and the fcam drivers. but usually that dosnt mess with anything or at least not the browser.

any ideas?

edit: I tried the purge and of course now im in a boot loop

it does work, i just reflashed the kernel and it still shows the web pages just in text, engadget.com shows no images just plain text, google shows the shearch field and the buttons but no GOOGLE gif. youtube shows only text too.

think ill have to reflash the emmc too?

yes images was on, i ended up bricking it with purge, i reflashed the kernel and didnt work so i reflashed the emmc and that finally did it, I have no idea what was it. but its gone now, i guess i will never know...

tHMZ, I actually did it again when I got home (I was doing it at work lol) and it worked finally. I got on and was disappointed to find I still go the redirect loop from facebook. BUT when I went to google, it redirected me to an actual page -- Tmobile saying I don't have a data plan. Called Tmobile and the customer rep reset something and finally got things to work. So I don't know if I had reset my phone for nothing -___-'

For those, who will read this thread with the same problem. I myself made the same mistake, as have been mentioned before and made my n900 go into reboot loop. But is some other thread here i found the solution to this without reflashing! You need to do this:

flasher-3.5 --enable-rd-mode --set-rd-flags=no-lifeguard-reset
Then your device will boot normally in R&D mode. So you can reinstall those important parts of the system wich you deleted before. After that, switch your device into production mode again:
Code:
flasher-3.5 --disable-rd-mode
And it works fine! Moreother, for me, redirect loop issue was solved to!
