as some of you may have read, my n900 went to repair.
now it is back, and i also ordered a new one from amazon
the amazon order n900 is a charm, really nothing like a new n900
the problem with the old n900 seemed to be battery
now the problem with the old one now that it powers on, is that it is not picking up any internet connections neither from my wifi nor from my standard att connection
it is not the sim card because everything works on the newer n900
if anyone could help, i would certainly appreciate it

Hmm. The first thing I would do is open up an xterm and run "/sbin/ifconfig". That should list all the active networking connections; if it lists four of them, with the names "lo", "phonet0", "wlan0", and "wmaster0", then I would guess that all your hardware is probably working, and some network configuration is all that needs to be done. If some of them are missing, however, you'll need to figure out why; either the OS is not recognizing the networking hardware correctly, or perhaps the hardware itself has a problem...
how are you all?
