Tis indeed very nice. I wish here was an app which had a VIDEO playlist like this. If a video function was added to someplayer where I could select the backend player I'd probably throw out all my other media software.
A small bug, when the phone is rotated to portrait the volume keys are flipped by default, so if you then lock the screen the skip track buttons are reversed. It's not very consistent...
Excellent work though! It's great to finally have the ability to skip tracks with the volume button, I have been waiting for that for over a year now.

I'm not sure if I understand you but I at first thought the icon on the bottom right was for adding files/directories to the library which it isn't for. It just adds files to your current playlist circumventing the library.
To add files to your library click the title bar and then "Manage library".
This probably only works if your files are tagged.
The meaning of all the buttons is explained in a help screen a button to which can be found at the bottom of the about screen.
actually for reference sake on this app being profile dependent, i ran rockbox using silent mode and the music plays unmuted so if that can do it perhaps this could?
