I run powertop and get the following output
Code:
C# | Ratio | Avg/dura | Freqeuency | Ratio
--------------------------------------------------+
     C0 | 98.4% | | 1150 MHz | nan% |
     C1 | 0.0% | 0.3 ms |
     C2 | 0.1% | 6.7 ms |
     C3 | 0.1% | 104.5ms |
     C4 | 1.5% | 3038.6ms |
Although I do have kernel power installed, my CPU is clocked at 600MHz (and has been for quite a while. I rarely overclock)
I'm wondering if it's normal for powertop to report 1150MHz at "nan%" ratio or have I been running at 1150MHz unknowingly?
sudo kernel-config shows
Code:
current frequency: 600
supported frequencies: 125 250 500 550 600 700 750 805 850 900 950 1000 1100 1150
min. frequency: 125
max. frequency: 600
avoid frequencies: 125
active frequencies: 0:30,90 250:38,180 500:48,360 550:54,400 600:60,430 700:60,430 750:60,430 805:60,430 850:60,500 900:60,500 950:60,500 1000:60,500 1100:72,520 1150:72,520
SmartReflex VDD1=0, VDD2=0
governer ondemand: ignore nice load= 0, up threshold= 95, sampling rate=300000, powerslave bias=0
looks like I'm at 600MHz like I should be, so is powertop just messing up the output, am I illiterate and misinterpreting the output or is there a problem with my phone?

Yes, it is normal.

Possibly a bug in reporting states from power kernel.

the bug could be fixed, but it is closed source although the original is with GPLv2
