Hi

there are so many GPS applications to download. There is Mappero, Marble, Modrana, Navit etc.

I want to know out of these which is the one with maximum features and will be updated in future.

I am also looking at a feature where we can lock our position and the route we intent to take via the home wifi and A-gps and then we can go offline while still keeping the A-gps active and the GPS still will take us to the right destination.

Please advise of a good GPS, i want one or at max two. Which ones are the best

Thanks

What you said is a bit confusing. The GPS is the hardware on your phone that uses satellite and cell towers (for A-GPS).

As for the applications, I like Mappero especially for its pre-download function. You can select a route of travel with a router (usually Google for me) and then download the "tiles" (maps) for that route. Just be careful what level of detail you have preselected before you download. The download can become very large if you have a long route with a every level selected.

Hope that helps. Why don't you try them and post your favorite?

marble is also good but I think mappero & Modrana are superior nav progs in terms of flexibility. Modrana and mappero have voice directions but not marble.
