    Hey SavageD,

    Code:
    x-maemo.nb_eeq = "true"
    x-maemo.nb_eeq.parameters = hex:00000500f9ff0100bfccd57107004639758d4639
    x-maemo.nb_meq = "true"
    x-maemo.nb_meq.parameters = hex:00000500f9ff0100bfccd57107004639758d4639
    x-maemo.wb_eeq = "false"
    x-maemo.wb_eeq.parameters = hex: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
    x-maemo.wb_meq = "false"
    x-maemo.wb_meq.parameters = hex:01000900ffff000019ef644cf9ff0100dfc74f7708009727e5b83356333758890040
Are these equalizers? What's the encoding used for the parameters?

Personally I'm looking to complete disable all resampling, EQs, etc, for the headphone and a2dp out since they a) load up the CPU and b) distort the output

the "true" | "false" options more or less function as functions which regulate audio quality before they are played through a specific medium....so yea, they basically are the equalizers.

I'm not certain if there is a specific type of encoding used, as these files deals with what I call the "raw" audio system.

It looks to me that the level of equalization achievable through this method is much more limited than what you can get with a full blown equalizer, such as that in SomPlayer. So, I would not want to loose that. However, maybe there could be a separate panel to tweak these settings in SomePlayer.

    Hmm... not sure I understand.

Do these booleans enable/disable audio equalizers in the chain (ie. apply gain to selected bands)? And, if so, I was hoping to decipher the format of the parameters.

yep those boolean operations do enable/disable audio equalizers in the chain. Nope, there is nothing to dicipher

    @ rm 42

yes it is quite simple to tweak. but was painstaking & dangerous tracking down which files, parameters values, actually dealt with audio system in a safe manner....I have lost one of my speakers in the process, busted some headphones. Nearly blew my Earphones too. And thx to my many endeavours I now have cruddy battery life...which was phenomenal before...

    @superpj101

the script works with any maemo five application, including someplayer.

I've used your tweaks before and I can say it does improve usability quite abit

I want to upgrade to the fastest one though but kinda hard to find the link? Has it been removed?

yep, I removed it, but that isn't to say that I've stopped working on this particular script...

I believe there is a problem with script in respect to battery life, for now I'm trying to figure out why.

anyone who is good at figuring out battery problems and willing to help me in some way, plz pm me.

ive installed the script a while ago and i want to remove it now but i dont have the remove script, and i cant download it anywhere. can someone upload the remove script?
the problem I actually have is that with a pair of JBL earphones with mic I get a lot of noise when connected, without music playing of course. since the phone works with other micless earphones, and the earphones work with other devices,i guess the script is the problem. does anyone have any idea?
