Yeah, it means that you have absolutely no idea what you are doing. And that makes me wonder why you install software from testing and devel repositories. And also makes me wonder which part of "No such file or directory" you cannot understand. Leave it.

    Hi,

    I have a keyboard/mouse combo:
Bluetooth Keysonic ACK-340BT (German) shown as BTKB-69DC

and selected it with the UI.
For 'layout' - well I selected ACPI Standard because I couldn't find a better selection.

Mouse works out of the box, but the keyboard...

The row with the numbers doesn't work at all - I have to press the keys below that row for a while - than the according number appears - like it is the case with the native N900 keyboard.

    I think it's because I selected a wrong layout...

Can anyone help me getting how to integrate my keyboard's layout in the selection list or select a better keyboard instead?

    Thanks in advance!
    asys3

@devildriven: OK, my bad, rereading my post I see I was unnecessary rough. On the matter - you should run dpkg command in exactly the same folder where you have saved .deb file. What I see is that you execute it in /home/user. cd into /home/user/MyDocs and try again (type MyDocs with capital M and D, exactly how it is here). If the result is the same then find somehow where the file is and execute dpkg command form there.

@asys3 Try to set your layout to "Generic 105-key (Intl) PC"

Hm, do not expect success, I have feeling that more job needs to be done before ps3 controller and keyboard work simultainously. Anyway I hope it will give me more information on what the problem is.

Hey, just dropping by . Anyways, on to the point, two dogs just woke me up after a rather endearing barking contest, and I'm in a foul mood, to put it lightly...

Not sure if this helps, but it's a known bug, reported in the wiki, that enabling HID profiles interferes somehow with SixAxis support... So the issue isn't a extkbd one in itself, but in the enalbing of HID profiles...

...which can be disabled by editting a line in main.conf, as outlined in maemo wiki. This should restore SixAxis compatibility.

Considering this is basic text editting, it shouldn't be too hard to create a batch file of sorts to do that. I'll even do that myself, if someone points me to a linux batch file tutorial.

Anyways... It isn't a problem with extkbd/extmou, but with how the device handles bluetooth. Just pointing it out.
