    Hello,

Is anyone using this case? seems pretty sturdy & comes with a screen protector. Would appreciate advice on the quality of the silicone shell and of the screen protector.

    Thanks.

I am using this. Adds to the bulkiness of the phone but so far so good. The inner side of the shell has some sort of cushion-like material too. I didn't install the screen protector as I have a full-body Invisible Shield installed prior. Here are some pics

If you think you will drop your phone often, the I suggest you get it. But it does add some bulk to your phone. (Makes a bit more effort to put in your jeans etc)

I say get a screen protector first before anything else. Currently I'm using the screen protector that came with the case, but not using the case itself (its just too darn bulky).

Having said that though, when I had it on, I did feel confident that the phone won't have any damage if it fell on to the ground. The case is very strong, and coming from Otterbox it should be :P

The top cover clip (the bit that holds on to the phone) can get a bit of wear if you take it off often. Removing the battery from the phone and accessing the sim/memory card can be a bit more work than normal. But if you don't swap memory card/sim cards often than this won't be a problem

    hope this helps you.

Hm, well here in the Philippines there are tons of places to get cell phone casing, but amongst all available I loved the Otterbox the most. I can live with the extra bulk, and it keeps the professional look of the phone and not "cute" like other casing I found so far (just my preference/opinion).

I'm not too sure of other alternatives. You might want to try it on your phone first and get a feel for it. Some people may like it with the case on (typing on the keyboard becomes more comfortable etc), others may not. Ask around people in your area if they have the case and if you could put it on etc.

If you are from Melbourne, Australia, let me know. (not selling mine, but you can try it on <-Just in case people think I'm selling :P)

It does bulk the phone out noticeably, but it also protects very well.

I ended up pulling off the plastic screen protector and throwing it away, the hard plastic "top" of the case proved to be enough protection for me and it lets me keep the screen smudge-free. No scratches, yet.
