Your sources either don't mention PR1.4 or are simply copied from the original (which was a lie). These sources are not credible and I believe that there is more chance of Kermit going on a killing spree than a non-community PR1.4 ever existing.
Are you lot all mad???? why have we got 45 sad members watching this thread along with 34 guests???? oh please people get your brain into gear and realise it is nonsence.

Its still a rumour, cant u read????Its not yet confirmed.I dont know why you guys dont believe anything....What if the update is out????
Great, are we now going to have countless threads on this so the other, important, actually worthwhile threads about apps and development get lost from the sidebar?
OP, a rumour means something is unsubstantiated. I could sit here now and say Nokia will release 1.4 tomorrow, 1.5 next month, and update all the way to 2.0 by Christmas, at which point we'll get a fully fleged MeeGo update on the N900. I could say that, start a thread and get everyone talking about it. But guess what? It'll still be ********.
Here's the facts: Nokia admitted Maemo 5 is a dead platform. 1.3 was the last official update. Nokia is ditching Symbian and largely MeeGo and will adopt WP7. If it's ditching Symbian, why the hell will it provide another update to a device that's 18 months old, running an OS that is dead? Especially when they said they want to get MeeGo 1.2 on it.
Get your feet back down to earth, and try this: stfu about 1.4 and speculative ********, and IF and WHEN it does ever come, be excited then instead
