is there an app that can add a txt to a conversation but not really send it??

example: you forgot to tell someone you werent gonna show up, so you add a text 'hey i cant make it' and set the date sent to last week.

when you see your friend you show him your phone and say 'see, i sent the text. i dont know what happened'

Messages are stored in sqlite3 database: /home/user/.rtcom-eventlogger/el-v1.db

You can add new messages to it with sqliteman for example.

try www.slydial.com you can leave a message on their voicemail without having their phone ring. BUT, some phones do alert the person that they have a voice mail message the moment you finish the message.

Lie are bad, but ***** funny sometimes!
    I'd like this program too!
It's linux.. Can't we just edit the files associated with the text?

IIRC you're not supposed to edit that database directly, since things may go wrong. I believe there's some functions for it, but I can't remember them.

is there an app to do essentially the opposite? send a text at a predefined time in the future? im getting tired of texting my friend to get up for classes every morning.
