So far I've been able to find all the answers to my questions regarding the n900 (wich I LOVE) on this forum, but not this one.

I used to have a E71, and I just removed my SD-card from that device and inserted it in the n900. There are some notes on that card that I really want, and at first I couldn't find them anywhere, until I pressed the notes button in the calander, which brought me to my notes on my card instead of the notes on my n900, with one exception (a note with all my tasks in it). Is there any way to gain access to these files without being forced to go via tha calander? How come the calander doesn't take me to my n900 notes?

try sync your N900 to E71 first. The only notes you can find are those via N900 calendar.

But I do see the notes in the calander! That's what's bugging me!

its the only way on the N900 for the time being to see the notes.

But I have a notepad as an application, and the notes I create is visible through that app.

Interesting. I was also trying to find my Outlook notes via the notes app. Thanks to this thread I found them via the calendar. Not logic though. Happy to have found them, but not logic at all.

so there is no way to look into a folder in the N900 where the notes are located?

if you are talking about the same notes that sync with your computers outlook...then yes.

No, no such folder. The notes in the N900 Calendar is stored in the same sqlite database as the rest of the calendar, ~/.calendar/calendardb
