As far as I understood the problem with the Archos 5 IT lays in the WiFi and Bluetooth. Somebody at http://archos.g3nius.org/index.php?t...hos_5_Hardware cracked the device open and it appears to have the W8686B14 chip inside. The closest one is a libertas chip from the same manufacturer. Have anybody tried to integrate this driver into the kernel distribution ot compiled it for A8?
