Hi,
I'm running the stock kernel with PR 1.3 & the CSSU. I noticed poor battery life in the last few days so have removed a few applications after checking activity with htop & powertop. I think I've got consumption back to normal.

So Just to check - I am 3G connected with an idle data connection, but no significant apps running
* Around 149 tick_nohz_restart_sched_tick entries in an interval (was 600-800)
* C0.1.2.3.4 split is 2/4/53/18/23 so lots of C2 activity

Are these "typical" or "high"? In particular C2 seems higher than expected?

The power kernel doesn't give figures much different (though there may be a small saving due to lower voltages)

You need to post the complete output of powertop.

600-800 wakeups per second is about normal.

Please post a powertop output of your system when NOT connected to the network. I.e. 5 minutes after a fresh boot with no data connections.

I think your c0 to c4 values are bad. C4 should be around 90%.

I just got (with wifi off):
C0: 0.9%
C1: 0.0%
C2: 0.9%
C3: 5.5%
C4: 92.7%

Check your /et/init.d/ and /etc/event.d/ folder. some apps don't delete there files there. (Some Flashlight app for example).
