Hey guys is there any way to set the duration of the sleep timer on the N900, when I set an alarm I can give it a name, time, and repeat dates. I cant seem to locate a few things I think are pretty basic.

    > Sleep (snooze) timer duration
    > Ring Tone / Options for Alarm (seems to use what ever your call ring tone is set for)

Perhaps we can make a simple application to replace the default alarm clock? (if somebody did not already)

Enter the 'clock and alarms' screen: (The one with the +, bell and world symbols)

Slick on the top bar: it will offer 'Regional settings' and 'alarm settings'.

Choice of alarm tone and snooze duration are under 'alarm settings'.

    Good luck.

The alarm clock is not bad. I use a N800/N900 combo for waking up.
N800 works as a normal radio alarm clock to bring me into a less sleepy state and then a few minutes later the N900 plays the alarm. Works really well and softly.

Perfect, they had it hidden away there

<3 the phone er tablet so far. Support for any ring tone including AAC format out of the box. had to hack my old phone just to use my own music for tones.

Now I just need a volume level hack for the N900 to make it ring louder.

I'm looking for the exact opposite

does anyone know how to set the alarm volume LOWER (or to whatever given level) and STAY at that level?

    I [ while(1) { ] really [ ; } ] hate that the volume gradually goes up!

is there a way that alarm clock would play the whole song instead of just beginning? its kind of annoying that alarm plays only the intro of the song...

+1. Playing the first 10 seconds and then repeating is completely stupid.
