I too think the anti-communist one should have made the top 5. Oh well, can't please everyone. The Nokia 550's e-mail capability was just too good.

Check at 00:08 in that video. He looks pretty tough. Not wanting beat up is the only thing that stopped me from making such a foolish (but true) assertion.

I was going to say this afternoon that is a pretty nice race between: jdsvid - ninja - sunwalker with over a 100 votes cast. Got busy. Now checking again and things changed pretty drastically in a few hours to a 4-way race at 134 votes.

Be aware - We're monitoring behavior for what appears to be "Register and vote for me!" stuff. While we believe our contestants to be mature enough to avoid doing this, we don't know how their fans, friends or family may behave.

I thought all the entries were really good. The commusim one was entertaining, but did not meet contest guidelines.

I liked joedavi's entry (reference for motorcycle maintenance). Having worked in a BMW shop before, i saw mechanics waste a fair amount of (expensive) shop time going back and forth between the shop computer and the car. I also liked that it was a no-nonsense no-frills video - straight-to-the point of the contest - and the only one that actually *did* show an existing tablet being used in a creative way,

That being said, I feel the best entry is the one which will be the most high-profile application, the one which will show the most potential customers the usefulness of the device and bring more users and developers into the maemo world.

    ...selfish as always

Well if that's the case, then what should be done?

Limit votes to people who have actually posted? Lock down new membership? Or restart the whole thing?

To prevent manipulation, the ITT members voting results should not have been shown while the voting is still going on. With a relatively small number of votes, it's too easy to be swayed.
