Finaly not resolved: another proximity sensor trouble?

Hi.
I've just have a problem with my proximity sensor, everytime "closed".
The problem seems to come from my Brando ultraclear screen protector: the sensor works again when I remove the film!
I've been using this protection since I bought the phone, one year ago, without any problem.
Is there somewhere a parameter to check sensitivity?
I remove all apps using the sensor (mediabar and proximityclock, not used), with no change.
I'll try with another film when I'll receive it.

You may run the following command under xterminal to test the sensitivity of the proximity sensor (CTRL-C to break):

while true; do cat /sys/devices/platform/gpio-switch/proximity/state; done

'open' means nothing in front of the sensor, 'close' otherwise.

You don't need to remove the film if you know it causes the problem, just punch a hole on the film where it blocks the sensor.

Thanks, this is not the problem: it worked during all the last year, with the film on!
And suddenly, it work ONLY when I remove (or punch a hole in) the film...
Of course, without the protection, the code running show me true values, open and close.
My question is: could the sensor sensibility be change?

Did you perform a system update around the time when it got overly sensitive?
I wonder if I should downgrade mine...

No major changes recently, except trying some apps, as I said, Mediabar and ProximityClock...

Given this observation, you are still so confident that the problem does not lie in the screen protector itself?

I don't recall any major update related to changing proximity sensitivity.

You might want to look at any newly installed update packages, especially those make use of the sensor.

Besides, you may want to show us the list of packages you installed by running the following commands. If enough people is reporting the same problem, we might be able to figure out the cause by comparing the lists:

I tried to change the screen protector, with a new Brando: no change.
Isn't there a setting in MediaBar to change the sensor sensibity?

I manualy delete the file /home/user/.config/MohammadAG/mediabar: sensor works again with screen protector on!
I tried with some scotch tape on too: it works
It was so simple...

Arghhh!
Mediabar do not seem to be the problem!
I've change again my film, cause I had a problem during installing the last one
Problem is back, in a certain way: sensor seems to be disactivate by bright lights, or sun!
Film is still the same, Brando ultraclear!
And I found it works again when I press the phone on the speaker hole, without my finger on the proximity sensor...
Should it be a mechanic problem, the part of the screen near the sensor seems to be flexible?
