    Hi all,

Here is my first attempt to package 'qrencode' & 'Qrcode' GUI (thanks to Pillum : http://talk.maemo.org/member.php?u=38915) utilities :

    Download packages here :

    http://bigbob.fun.free.fr/libqrencod...emo0_armel.deb
    http://bigbob.fun.free.fr/libqrencod...emo0_armel.deb
    http://bigbob.fun.free.fr/qrencode_3...emo0_armel.deb
    http://bigbob.fun.free.fr/qrcode_0.0.1_armel.deb

Then, as usual, as root, install with :

    Code:
    cd where_you_put_packages
    dpkg -i dpkg -i libqrencode3_3.1.1-1maemo0_armel.deb qrencode_3.1.1-1maemo0_armel.deb qrcode_0.0.1_armel.deb
And for those of you that don't know what 'qrencode' & Qrcode GUI are, here is a quick explanation :

    qrencode :

    http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2011/03/h...des-in-ubuntu/

Qrcode was made by Pillum (see post #7 of this thread http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=976885&postcount=7) :

    Hope you like it ...

    A++

I was thinking about this possibility of packaging this for maemo today, any chance to get the ui packaged as well?

As quick question, quick answer ...

I have modified the original message to include the GUI, however I'm not sure it work like expected.

I have to install the i386 version on my desktop to see the original behavior ...

Ok, the GUI can't work properly because when the button was pressed it try to launch 'xdg-open' utility to open the generated code.

This utility does not exist on maemo, it must be replaced by a command to launch the default image viewer (sorry I don't know how ...).

Anyhow, with all talented guys on this forum I'm sure someone create a GUI for this tool.

I couldnt feed QBitmap with the right data (dunno why, but size was always 0), so I had to set every single pixel by my own, which isnt really efficient. Maybe some other can fix and finish it,
but here is the "final" product (with source code included).

btw. it doesnt matter if the picture is too blurry, if the scale factor is too low, because its only scaling the pixmap up, if the resulting image is too small. But the saved file will be sharp (but smaller than shown in the app)

I could fix this, but im tired now and going to bed.

PS: you need libqrencode from the first post.

For all users concerned by your program, I have packaged it and modified my post in front of this threat to reflect your work.
Hope I have not made a mistake doing that ...

Anyhow, in case of troubles don't hesitate to ask me to remove/modifying anything ...

The reason i didnt packaged it, was that I dont know about the *.deb info files like changelog and dependencies and it seems like you didnt modify them too.
I dont mind, if the package doesnt have this infos, but maybe other users.
