Yes!!!! It worked!!! Seems all copies of my hildon.menu were changed hence copying didn't make difference
Haven't tested all applications but the few I did worked, haven't tried rebooting either, hope it will still work afterwards
darkspawn, will be back later with detailed instructions if you haven't figured out yours, I followed another post here to get the original file contents and manually edited it in leafpad (well, took me couple of hours playing around trying to figure out if I can copy it through the cables from the laptop, and then how to do copy/paste *blush*)
THANK YOU!!!!!
Edited: Just noticed some empty space on the top of the scroll window, and all apps are listed on the same page as one BIG scroll list, so obviosuly will need to go and re-do it proprely, but at least I can access everything now
Had same problem, and no matter what i was doing i couldnt use just the basic programs. But succeeded fixing it, heres how i did. I tryed the x-console things but had allways errors till i didnt left out the blank space afther the / in cp / etc so i wrote cp /etc then it did the process. Then i entered hildon-application-manager and opened up uninstall and uninstalled mymenu and mytheme, then left opened the app manager but opened the browser and googled mymenu download page and downloaded mymenu 4.3 whats the newest. It didnt want to install at first, but it did for the third try and since then my apps are back and all working.
