I got both! the 770 is a totally different device. I use the gp2x for gaming only, I have MAME, NES, SNES,, GENESIS, SCUMMVM. it has better controls for gaming.
The Nokia is all business and networking. The GP2X is for play
True except the SCUMMVM. You can play it better on N770 with pen. And even monkey3 works in 640x480. Cpu 100% most of the times but quite playable. Sometimes it skips but not much. Even the movie scenes play quite smooth.
