Only thing I don't know about is the output being spued down the x-term screen telling me certain things weren't working like video or audio yet it played back fine. Some OSD controls caused issues though with pict/audio!
EDIT: I need to remember these dir paths in linux!! not used to it. I have to open Kmplayer to get hold of the dir path so I can type it in x-term lol
Tried apt-get update. didn't work. just managed to update though in faster app manager itself. unless x-term is using repos from the standard maemo app manager.
W: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems

Hey Mr 1337INT13H - glad to see you're enjoying your voyage of discovery
Is it possible you can chill with the posting? I can't keep track of what your question is.
The 'strange output' is quite normal for Linux programs. Most of the time it can be safely ignored, but if you're having problems it can be valuable to find out what's going on.
Please remember that alot of your questions will have been asked and answered here many times before - searching is cool
Enjoy!
