I suggest you do two things:

1. Learn to read. If you knew how to read you wouldn't have to ask the question you are asking about overclocking voiding the warranty.

2. Read this thread. It will answer your most important questions.

I think you will find the answer is that it does void your warrenty but you can return it back to the normal kernal if you want to. The problem will be if you need to return it to nokia for any reason before you can return it to normal and/or Nokia can ascertain you have OC it anyway and they then decide this is a reason to reject your warrenty claim.

Iis a case or either taking your chance or not and only you can really decide whether it is worth the risk, I am in two minds myself!

AFAIK no-one has has had their their warranty rejected due to overclocking. I've overclocked and had my USB port repaired under warranty.

I wouldn't go so far as to say no one has damaged their N900 through overclocking, I think there are a couple of posters that have reported problems after significant overclocking that may be attributable to the overclocking, but it is hardly proof over-clocking was the cause. So long as you don't push it too much (i.e. don't go over 1000MHz) I wouldn't worry about it though, if you go over 1000MHz all of the overclocking profiles will push the voltage up over the stock voltage to maintain stability and over-volting can damage the CPU (I'm not saying it will, chips vary with their tolerances, but is the extra when you push it from 1000MHz to 1100/1150MHz worth the risk?)

I think an overclock to 805/850MHz should be safe and undervolted should't get too hot and may even save battery.
