yeah remove uboot, and find uboot in the repos for power kernel theres a specific one for it.

don't use the devel version, it's for testing and usually very unstable, nothing is working according to the UI. Use the version called armv7hl as it is recommended by quim. Stay within the safe zone.

Just a head up that's all. RC2 is rather slow than the pre RC1 release. And everything that worked in RC1 will be the same as RC2, there is no major changes to the system other than a few UI changes within the setting and a couple bugs fixes. RC2 still crashed in Photos viewing and cannot change theme like in RC1 could. Typically means there is no changes between the two RCs.

Yeah I saw that post. I was mainly just wondering what the -devel was all about?

Anybody know the answer to this?

why don't you read my comment above your post for your question.

it's obvious what's it's for by the look at the word.
armv7l-devel it stand for developer version, or unfit for normal testers or users. Usually using software Accel and not depending on hardware accel.

Well its funny how the theme functionality has been removed.

I thought RC's were meant to include more dunctionality/features after each release not remove them :P

Although the virtual keyboard seems to appear much more often.

These current updates and the current version of MeeGo are no way working to what people expect, it is best to wait for a full blown version but i am confused because it is supposed to be released on or by the 20th April and reading peoples posts on here MeeGo is no way even workable and we are only days from the so called MeeGo release to the public.

Or have i got this wrong about the release coming soon?.

Tbh its pretty usable. Phone calling works, texts work properly, Web browsing over WLAN works.

Basic phone stuff all works and it runs pretty fast seeing as its running off a memory card.

Isn't it still a problem that receiving phone calls only works while the
dialer app is running.
Photos still crashes for me.
Calendar app is far from useable.

No.
Basic Usability is there though. Its nowhere near finished. But the basic functions do work. Calendar and photos dont but when I say basic usability i mean phone calling and texting.
